It’s October so it’s time for Flash Frontier‘s special international issue. Flash Frontier is a New Zealand journal, and we’ve had submissions all year from people we’ve turned away based on their geographies (alas!)… so we’re pleased that this month we finally bring an international issue to our readers. It kicks off with a new story by Irish writer Nuala Ní Chonchúir whose writing knocks my socks off. Nuala is our featured interview guest as well.
Besides Nuala’s magpie, the issue includes birds, butterflies and other things that lift off — and staircase art by Sheri L. Wright — that reflect the diversity of contributors from Adelaide to Berlin to San Francisco, from Louisville to New Delhi to Galway, alongside those from Auckland, Wellington and Northland.
Enjoy the issue here.
